Ik had de stille hoop dat de tekeningen wel zouden lijken op de dames uit de tv serie, maar ik kon bijvoorbeeld Paige amper herkennen. The Charmed Ones return in this brand new fantasy series from Zenescope that picks up where the series left off. I do recommend for die hard fans of the show.This did not blow me away. It is nice to see them married and raising children as they still balance home life with kicking supernatural butt and protecting innocents. Not as fulfilling as the show - but at least there is more stories of the Charmed ones!Paul Ruditis also writes under the name P.J. The art although suburb in its own right didn't portray the sisters like they were in the show.
I'm not reading the comics as standalone novels, but rather collecting the graphic novel version. Now they all know Cole is back and Henry jr. looks like he is going to be staying in this family. The drawings are pretty well done, the story develops slowly, so that it remains unclear who the big bad of season 9.1 actually is. It saves me the clutter so I'm a bit behind everyone else.I absolutely love these graphic novel that show what is happening after the final season of the TV show. She enters limbo again and meets Cole. Love it!This book is AMAZING! But time marches on and new challenges will be met as Phoebe is haunted by her past, Piper must deal with the present, and Paige is forced to cope with the future.
It is a god send that they decided to continue the Charmed series through comics. 2007/Season 9. Phoenix, Persephone, and Pagan's Room. The graphics didn't really live up to what I thought they'd be, they were okay, but they weren't great. Absolutely fantastic.
