Fans of Riverdale love to spend their Wednesday nights catching up with Archie and the gang.

The following day, Betty, Jughead and Veronica watch proudly from the stands as Archie prepares to be inaugurated in the school gymnasium.

Fortunately, Archie and Jughead narrowly escaped. Jughead asks did Charles have a Jingle Jangle addiction.

Jughead believes that the attacks perpetrated by the second Black Hood have a political motive, which suggests that Hiram is actually behind the attacks. Betty confronted Alice, stating that she knew what her mother was up to and that she wouldn't be part of the game she is playing, to which she defended saying that she took Betty's earlier words to heart. When Sheriff Keller approached to offer his condolences, Mrs. Klump slaps him as he was supposed to be protecting them all from danger. When they ask why, Kevin simply replies that Penelope Blossom isn't much of a stage mom.

These two definitely have the potential to make a great pair. Veronica then guided her inside. Betty told him that she wanted to tell him but she thought that Archie was his third rail. Betty arrived at the party with her mother, who was out of her usual attire. They were then driven out to the lakehouse by Andre much to Betty's amazement as she took in the scenery. With Betty in possession of the video surveillance footage of Jason's murder, Cheryl forgave FP in front of the judge for his role in covering up her brother's death and then humbly asked the court for leniency.

She told Jughead about the dead man, everything from the moments leading up to his death to her and her mother disposing of the body. Betty shows the woman a photo of Charles. Now, as it seemed to Veronica, Jughead and Betty were caught in the aftermath. It's not always fast and violent. There is none, but Jughead feels that after everything that has happened, a night at the Five Seasons might be something that she would enjoy. After hanging up with Cheryl, Betty and Archie were confronted by Jughead. However, given his status among the Serpents, it was in fact his decision. Midge's death has seemingly taken a great toll on Riverdale, Mrs. Klump and Moose especially. Betty adds that it's fine that Archie is doing exactly what Tommy Ross would do by standing by Veronica's side. From this, Betty surmised that her mother and At the trailer with Jughead, Betty assured him that his protest had made a difference. She and the rest of the River Vixens are dressed in all-black cheerleader uniform. While leaving the diner, Jughead questions how could they possibly know with certainty that Chic isn't the killer. Jughead asked if she was sure that she didn't want him to give her a ride back home. Given Chic's violent past and his association with equally violent people (Darla and Marcel), Jughead can't help but suspect him. He has been beaten bloody and senseless, and his Serpent tattoo removed. She worries that the twins might even grow up to be murderers, much like her father. Serpents start rioting and the Ghoulies come back to wreak havoc in Riverdale. They returned to the starting point, where Jughead shouted at Archie after learning that he was responsible for the police getting involved. They ask if Chic's time at the group-home ever overlapped with Svenson's. Jughead: "Oh, because my dad's going to prison and your dad's getting out?"

Four men wearing black ski-masks then entered the lakehouse with weapons in hand, demanding their valuables. Out of fear that Betty will follow through with her threats, Sister Woodhouse provides them with the files. Betty then exited the bathroom in black lingerie and a black bob-cut wig, and told Jughead that she would have to punish him if he did enjoy his kiss with Veronica. She smiled and opened the window to which he quipped, That night, they found the car, hidden under a tarp and filled with Jason's things, including his varsity jacket, as well as plenty of drugs.

However, before Veronica could respond, Betty confronted him, leading Veronica to conclude that they were actually still fighting over the kiss between Betty and Archie. However, Chic refuses to admit anything other than the fact that Charles was a junkie. It looked like they were going to win the war with the Ghoulies, but in the end, there were just too many of them. He told everyone that Betty dressed up like a hooker in a terrible black wig, drugged and handcuffed him to in a hot tub and threatened to drown him until he said what she wanted to hear. Turns out Fangs was shot, and was rushed to the hospital.
